Full-Stack & AI Product Engineer
MVP Scope Estimator
Turn a rough product idea into a clearer first milestone. Nine quick choices, a rough price and timeline band, and a brief you can keep.
These answers describe a typical first release of a booking app: customers and an admin, online payment and reminders, a public launch. Change any answer with Edit answers.
Your scope read
Moderate scope
There is enough product surface here to sequence deliberately. A clear first release and a follow-up hardening phase will keep it honest.
Rough price and timeline
Price
$6,500 to $9,000
Timeline
About 4 to 5 weeks
Your answers fit one sprint with extra work because it includes one or two integrations.
This is a range, not a quote. A short written scope sets the fixed price.
What is shaping the work
- Multiple roles or permissions
- A customer-facing web product
- Two or three connected workflows
- One or two familiar integrations
Best next move
Choose the smallest release that proves the main workflow, then put integrations, roles, and operational work into an explicit second milestone where possible.

If you want to start smaller: Scope & Prototype is $500, credited toward the build if you go ahead within 30 days. This page is a planning aid, not a quote: a short written scope sets the fixed price.
What this helps you decide
A useful first release has a defined user, a central workflow, and a launch bar that matches what needs to be true now—not everything the product might become.
The estimator makes the main complexity drivers visible: roles, integrations, AI behavior, runtime needs, launch requirements, and data sensitivity.
The price and timeline shown are a range based on how I scope fixed-price Launch Sprints. A short written scope is what sets the actual fixed price.

Before you use it
Does this use AI?
No. The estimator uses a small deterministic ruleset, so every result follows from the choices you make. That keeps the result explainable, fast, and independent of an API key.
Is this a quote?
No. It gives a range. Standard Launch Sprints run $3,500 to $5,500 over 3 to 4 weeks; with an AI feature or a couple of integrations, $6,500 to $9,000. Bigger work is scoped into several sprints. A short written scope sets the fixed price, and you get one within 48 hours of sending your brief.
Is my product information stored?
Your selections and the copyable brief stay in the browser until you choose to share, email or send them. The site records only non-identifying aggregate tool events such as completion, scope band, and safe complexity flags; it does not send your selected answers or product details to analytics. A share link holds your multiple-choice answers (no free text), so anyone who has the link can see them. If you ask for the brief by email, your address and answers go to me and to the email service that delivers it; I do not add you to any list or database, and you only get occasional notes if you tick the optional box. Sending the brief to the contact form puts it in the link to that form, which is only used if you submit it.
What should I do with the result?
Copy the brief into a project inquiry, a planning document, or a conversation with your team. Use it to make the first milestone and the work you are deliberately deferring explicit.
