How much does it cost to rebuild a Lovable, Bolt or v0 app?
If your Lovable, Bolt or v0 app mostly works, fixing it is cheaper than rebuilding: a $149 diagnosis, then a fix sprint from $750. If it needs a rebuild, the prototype becomes the spec, and a version with accounts and one or two integrations reads as $6,500 to $9,000 in my scope estimator. These are estimates, not quotes.
Cost ranges (estimates)
- Diagnose and fixFrom $149Plan 48h after access
FixedLaunch: a bug video and fix plan, then a fix sprint from $750 with the $149 credited.
- Small rebuild$3,500 to $5,500About 3 to 4 weeks
One core workflow, sign-in, no outside services. The prototype is the spec.
- Rebuild with integrations$6,500 to $9,000About 4 to 5 weeks
Two or three workflows, payments or one or two services, a public launch.
Prices are USD estimates, not quotes. They come from the bands in my MVP Scope Estimator and the offers on /hire. A short written scope sets the fixed price.
What these ranges assume
- A working prototype from Lovable, Bolt or v0.
- A web app with one user type and sign-in.
- Two or three workflows in the rebuild case.
- One or two integrations, such as payments.
- Standard customer data, a public launch.
- Built by me alone, at a fixed price in writing.
What drives the cost
- Live users and data to move to the new app
- Several integrations or a custom API
- Admin roles and permissions added on top
- An AI feature the prototype only faked
- Health, financial, or other regulated data
- A new design: outside Launch Sprint terms
- Fixing the prototype instead, if it holds up
- The prototype's screens kept as the design
- One workflow rebuilt first, the rest later
- No live users yet, so no data to move
- One integration, such as payments
- A short list of what breaks today
How long it takes
- Diagnosis: a bug video and plan 48h after access.
- Small rebuild: about 3 to 4 weeks.
- Rebuild with integrations: about 4 to 5 weeks.
- A written update daily, a live link in week one.

I have no sourced market averages for these, so I describe fit and risks instead of quoting prices I cannot back up.
For AI-built apps, check whether you can export the code and own the database before choosing between a fix and a rebuild.

Questions
Should I fix or rebuild my AI-built app?
Fix it if the core flows mostly work and the problems are bugs, sign-in, payments or deployment. Rebuild it if every fix breaks something else or the data model is wrong. The $149 FixedLaunch diagnosis is the cheap way to find out, and it is credited to a fix sprint within 30 days.
How much does a rebuild cost?
A rebuild with accounts, two or three workflows and one or two integrations reads as $6,500 to $9,000 over about 4 to 5 weeks in my scope estimator. A small rebuild with one workflow and no outside services runs $3,500 to $5,500 over about 3 to 4 weeks.
Does the prototype make the rebuild cheaper?
It makes it clearer. The prototype shows the screens and flows, so the scope is faster to write and has fewer surprises. The price still follows the same estimator rules: workflows, roles, and integrations decide the tier.
What about my existing users and data?
Moving live users and data is extra work that goes into the scope. With no live users yet, the rebuild starts clean. The written scope says what moves and how.
Which tools do you cover?
FixedLaunch covers apps from Lovable, Bolt, v0, Replit and Cursor. A rebuild works the same way for any of them: the prototype is the spec and the new code goes into a repository in your name.
Is this page a quote?
No. It is a range from the same rules the scope estimator uses. A short written scope sets the fixed price, and you get one within 48 hours of sending a brief.
